Veg of the week – apples

These lovely little delights have been involved in the discovery of gravity, a prolific computer brand, New York’s nickname, Eve’s sin, Adam’s throat, Gwenyth Paltrow’s kid…you name it. However, we’re only interested in it’s compact deliciousness. Apples contain no fat, sodium or cholesterol, and are a good source of fibre. Plus they’re really tasty. Seeing as our university owns an orchard that students have access to, we’ve stocked up on free apples and have been experimenting with new seasonable apple recipes. But in the meantime, here are a few of the internet’s finest. Yum!
